Jeff, Kristi, Hortense, and
Frank are having the best Halloween sleep over ever! That is until Jeff's
little sister Bethany complains to Mom and Dad for being left out. 'I am
not too young to stay up with the others,' she insists! And insists! And
insists! Interrupting the grown-ups' coffee and Bridge game until the sound
of Dad's footsteps can be heard coming down the stairs. Of course
it had to be during his favorite part of 'The Attack of the Triffids.'
With a collective sigh all turn to watch his father's brown shoes progress
down to the basement with the fuzzy feet of Bethany's footie pajamas and
blanket not far behind...
